This year has brought about a lot of change — for us as individuals, as well as for society as a whole. From daily activities like grocery shopping, to larger ideas around work and travel — we’re collectively working to imagine a new way to navigate through the world.

And in this unique moment, photography has the power to communicate this ‘new normal’ by documenting the world around us in real, authentic ways. Which is why for the month of September, we’ve teamed up with Windows to represent the new realities of remote work in our Work From Home Topic takeover.

Unsplash + Windows

Back in March, Windows worked with five Unsplash contributors to create a visual campaign that captured what it was like to work remotely in the midst of a global pandemic. And now, we’re excited to team up with Windows to continue to examine how to represent the realities of remote work and education with your help.

Submit to the Work from Home Topic

So from shots of video calls with teammates and makeshift office spaces in your living room, to photographs of your first (virtual) day of school and online lectures, submit your best work from home shots directly to the Topic for a chance to be featured throughout the month of September.

  • Head over to the Work from Home Topic on Unsplash
  • Hit the “Submit to Work from Home” button
  • Submit any photos you’ve shot that meet our Submission Guidelines.
  • Your photo(s) will be reviewed as usual, but with the extra opportunity to be selected by the Windows team to be featured in the Work from Home Topic and a higher chance of being promoted on the homepage Editorial feed.

The Work from Home Topic will be updated daily with your shots representing the realities of remote work and online learning. Plus, we’ll be featuring the top submissions from throughout the month on our newsletter and on social this month.
