In Boone Iowa, there is a train that is open to the public that runs a 10-mile length of track through a scenic valley near the Racoon River. During the holiday season, it is called the Santa Express and takes passengers to meet Santa at the North Pole. Little elves read a story, serve hot chocolate, and sing songs along the way.
