These beautiful monitor lizards are usually shades of green or even turquoise. They are found in the jungles of Papua New Guinea and a few of the Torres Strait Islands (Australia). They are very agile tree climbers, and eat insects, birds and mammals. They are also quite sociable for monitor lizards.
