Life on mars 1. In the nocturnal house at Koala Gardens, Kuranda, Australia, the lighting for these geckos is very dim and red, so that they are awake in the day when people come to see them. This lighting makes it look like a Martian landscape to me. I hope that children will like this photo. Rough knob-tailed gecko.
