multicolored rose flower photo

These are made by dividing the stem of a white or cream rose into 6 parts and placing each part into a different color of dyed water. Alternately, some specialists inject the dye into the stem for more precise results. When water is drawn up the stem to the flower, it transfers the color to the petals. These were a gift from my fiancee on Valentine’s Day. It was the best gift imaginable for a macro photographer!
