I'm in love with Oregon's remote high desert highways. You can drive for hours and not pass a single car...or stand in the middle of the road and take pictures. This is Highway 205 outside the tiny, tiny town of Fields--population 120--in the very remote southeastern corner of the state. I liked how the sun lit up the pavement and mountains as dark storm clouds cut across the cold and bleak landscape.
