Gautama Buddha statue

This Buddha statue is in Langza, a very small village in the Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh in India. The statue believed to be a 1000 years old is atop a hill and the rest of the village is built below it. Another must thing to do is to hunt for prehistoric fossils of marine animals. These fossils are a million years old and are found in abundance here.
