I probably looked odd laying there on the ground and yes, I was sore and dirty at the end of the day… but I got some awesome tulip photos! The perspective you get from this ground-level view is great. Trees in the background create the bokeh. Overcast skies are best, but this subtle sunlight created lovely shadows. The leaves curl up in interesting ways. Tulips are just fantastic subjects!
