This beautifully constructed building (owned by a bank) is near the water in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter. According to one source, “The eastern building’s fins are intended to be redolent of the bark of the tree, while the western screen was generated from an artist’s image of decaying leaves,” the Kiwi pohutukawa tree.
