Summer in Anchorage, Alaska is the off-season for the local street lamps, as darkness falls around midnight and first light coming around 4 a.m. This photo was taken on the first stage of the journey home from Alaska. Shooting through the tinted windows of a charter bus at 3:30 a.m. is not an ideal lighting situation, but it is true what they say; good pictures are everywhere. This photo is significant to me because it symbolizes the art of capturing remarkable images in ordinary situations or settings.
