A huge “nana” in the form of a guardian angel watch over the travelers in the main hall of Zurich's main train station. Initially ridiculed for her colorful “Nanas”, the French artist Niki de Saint Phalle (1930 - 2002) soon became world famous. Her voluminous “Nanas” stand for cheerful, liberated and self-confident women.
