a painting of a waterfall in the woods

Our 30th wedding Anniversary today. High Force or Whin Sill. Is 71 feet with an unbroken drop of 98 feet. 2,800 cubic feet of water a second roars over the almost vertical pinnacle. Turner painted this in 1822. Dolerite rock still gradually receding up Teesdale through North Pennines, North Yorkshire, shaped by melting ice age waters 295 million years ago. Water flows over both sides. The last recorded time was in 2015. This cascading pinnacle has darkest nights to view dramatically beautiful jaw dropping night skies. Two hearts flowing through life, forever together Phil and Kay Greenup.
