A fine example of British, Victorian engineering; the Helter Skelter on the pier at Clacton, East Anglia (UK) was built in 1871 and, despite a short break in 2013, when the wind tried to blow it over, it continues to provide probably the simplest, technology-free, best fun entertainment there is!
