Sarah had been laying around in bed for a couple days watching Vampire Diaries as she recovered from a surgery she had recently, & just feeling kind of down & blue. I encouraged her to get up and let me take some photos of her, so she put on some make up & came to sit in the office. I took a few shots to show her how pretty she still was, & put a smile back on her face. What I loved about the photo was the sharp focus on the texture of the wall & the lamp decorations, putting the mirror & frame LEDs out of focus creating a blue bokeh, with the soft white light contrasting her dark features.
