I was initially upset by my lack of planning. I forgot to check the moon schedule! However, sometimes your failures can lead you to unexpected surprises! The way moon illuminated the mountains of Yosemite Valley reminded me how nature adds the stochastic elements to its architecture that we don’t get with the human architecture of straight lines and 90 degree angles. I think that’s where that magical feel comes from. Also, can you spot the hikers?
