True Nature

I have a strange fascination with people taking photos of each other. I love the build up, the instructions people give that person taking the photo. It’s a funny process to watch, and I especially love to capture the interaction between photo taker and subject. We’re in the age of selfies and iPhone photography. Yet, I love how each person is crafting their own narrative around their lives through photographs and social media. The idea of identity comes up here, and how we are crafting a transparent narrative for people to view online and how that aligns with our true nature.
