Working from home means that I’m at my desk a lot. Despite my best intentions, my desk gradually accumulates all sorts of clutter during the week that makes it hard to focus. To fix that, I like to take away everything that’s found its way onto my desk and return only the essentials—including the desktop on my computer. I often use photos from the Unsplash community as my wallpaper, like this landscape photo from Tobias Keller (https://unsplash.com/@tokeller). The result of this process is a calm, fresh workspace that makes it easy for me to focus when I come back to work next week.
