This is Zendaya, an 8 year old girl living in one of the remote islands of the BVI, Jost Van Dyke. She’s a special girl who has impacted my life. I was interviewing a man who had lost everything due to Hurricane Irma, and she, having experienced the same loss, grabbed my camera from beside me and captured the moment. We spent the rest of my time there talking about her favorite things about her island and how happy she is to have life. - Let this be a reminder that joy comes from within and is not meant to be affected by our by our external circumstances. 🇻🇬
