I spent a chilly November morning hiking in the woods. Most of the leaves are off the trees now. I came upon this maple, still adorned with golden leaves that seemed to be glowing from the early morning sun. The first thought that came to mind was how lacy and delicate it looked. I used portrait mode on my iPhone to focus on the leaves closest to me.
