yellow flower

Last night the sun didn’t really set, It felt more like procrastination. A slow movement into the ocean, As if today, she was being kind of lazy. It seemed as though she was enjoying, watching her own rays, seeping through the greenery, that some people like to call weeds. As if she knew that by slipping, into the sea, just that much more slowly, would make the yellow flowers, hidden in the bushes, just this much more golden.
