The Painted Desert

I am driving through the Painted Desert in the Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona. When it is rainy, the painted desert displays reds, browns, and purples. When it is sunny, it displays reds, oranges, and yellows. The forest contains wood from million year old ancient trees that fossilized and crystalized.
