In ancient times this was a rescueboat to save people from a wreck nearby. The boat was pulled over the beach by ten horses and once in the water ten strong men were needed to row the boat in stormy weather and dangerous waves. Nowadays they show the boat as a touristic attraction. This photo shows the place where the boat crosses the dunes to get to the beach. For this photo I used black and white to give it an old effect.
