Now that I’m an adult, I really understand the meaning of home and how it feels to come back to a place so familiar yet different with my new outlook. This is a place that I questioned, “why do people visit so much here?” As I dreamed of the city I now find too busy for me. “Why do people have vacation homes here?” Now realizing most of those people had the same realization as me. I grew up with Pure Michigan commercials, and hearing about how beautiful it is here but it took moving away to really appreciate what I was fortunate enough to grow up with. This is a Pure Michigan view.
