After an eye-opening trip to New York, I found myself feeling quite bummed out as I returned back to my home in the mid-west. I missed the busy streets, outlandish fashion, and endless food options. So, instead of feeling sorry for myself, I planned a photoshoot that represented and empowered the midwest. We may not have the coolest skyscrapers, but there are so many hidden jems here.
