Interesting photo with a fun backstory. These stone weights were used as “judgement” on whether or not you were fit to be a fisherman back in the day in Iceland. If you were able to lift either of the heavier two stones onto a waist-heigh platform, you could be a fisherman....The heaviest was “Full Strength” ~ 340lb, next “Half Strength” ~ 220lb, third is “Weakling” ~ 120lb, and final is “Useless” ~51lb. (And we’re assuming someone put the smallest two there for aesthetic value - mission accomplished)
