Early in the morning and quite chilly even for New Mexico high desert. I was on a motorcycle road trip and wanted to catch the early light with these fascinating telescopes in the middle of nowhere, New Mexico. A light powdering of snow made the surrounding desert quite muddy, so I had to keep my distance.
