For our spring ‘Seasonal Specialty’, I wanted a pop of color in frame, so I parked the drink on top of a fence post on our patio and made sure to get the blooming flowers in the background, but I shot wide open enough to keep the color blurry so it wouldn’t distract too much from the slightly less colorful subject.
