This beautiful owl is a resident at Nature’s Educators (http://www.natureseducators.org/). He injured his wing in an encounter with the electric grid and now, unable to fend for himself, is looked after by the team. I infinitely prefer shooting wildlife in the wild but still find it very satisfying to have the opportunity to get up close to these “unluckier” creatures and to admire their beauty.
