Cow Parsley by the River Itchen

We were walking by the River Itchen from the centre of Winchester to the ancient Hospital of St. Cross and Almshouse of Noble Poverty (founded 1132). The river had froths of cow parsley on either side which created a quintessentially English pastoral scene.
