La Paz

We were on our way to the base of Huayana Potosi to being the trek to the summit at 6,088m. On our way out of La Paz, we stopped here in the area of El Alto, which sits just above Bolivia’s capital city. In the distance, looming above, is Illimani the highest mountain in the Cordillera Real of western Bolivia.
