It was a chilly July day in Wateron, Alberta. The sun occasionally peaked through the cloud cover, but most of the day was overcast and windy. We wandered down to the shores of Waterton Lake and took in the view. Across the lake to our right, I found the Prince of Wales Hotel with my camera lens. The sun was peaking through in the perfect way, to illuminating it like a spotlight. I grabbed this shot, one of my all-time favorites from our Glacier Park trip.
