We often travel from Salt Lake City, UT to Rock Springs, Wyoming. I take my DSLR with me but rarely find much to shoot. This trip was different. It rained–a lot–something unusual for this part of the world. Everything became more vibrant, more green, more real. This is a photo of a twisted juniper tree (likely twisted this way due to the constant wind in this area). Not far from here are wind farms. My husband was very patient as I kept scouting the area for the best way to take the photo. It make the trip worth it.
