Bend - don’t break

While snowshoeing through the mountains of Utah, this little tree caught my eye. May of the trees in the region are extremely flexibly by necessity. There between three and four feet of snow on the ground and this tree was carrying as much as it could bear, but it did not break. No doubt this strong young tree will be all the better for having gone through this come Spring.
