While having lunch in Pass Island in Coron, a teenage boy caught our attention as he passed by our area. Actually, it was his ‘pet’ that got our eye - a 2-month old (or 3?) monkey! He said that its mother is still alive, but I’m not sure / can’t remember exactly how they got hold of this baby. His family takes care of it well and even sleeps with them in bed. Malaya is very affectionate towards anyone, even our tour guide’s puppy! She’s not afraid of being handled by other people as it seems she’s very used to it. Melaya loves to eat fruits like this sweet watermelon ;)
