There was once a pool in Washington Park. And in 2017, during artworks’ very popular light festival in Cincinnati, there was again. This thoughtful work from Jen Lewin Studio, although featured at more than 20 light festivals internationally, has special meaning here in Cincinnati. Public art has the rare ability to both transform a public space, encourage play for all, and comment on the gentrification happening underneath viewers’ feet. The pool made for some great images.
