I work close to the coast of South Shields so one day after I finished work I took a detour via the beach with my DSLR before heading home. I took this shot at around about 7pm late spring of last year. I was aiming to get a summery shot but as the sun was starting to set I ended up capturing the vivid colours and beauty that we locals so regularly miss.
