En Gedi is a nature reserve in the Judean desert in Israel. It is one of the few places where there are natural springs and so animals like the ibex come here for the water. Because their coloring is like the rocks it is hard to see them, especially for a camera so this photo is interesting because I caught him at the top of this rise so that he is against the blue sky.
