I grew up in Key West, FL and had never been to an actual working farm before. A coworker of mine recently talked about how she works on a farm for a few hours every morning and I had to ask, “Can I come visit?” and I was surprised when she didn’t miss a beat before trying to coordinate our schedules to see when would work best. I am very into animal rights and I have no interest in seeing some factory farm but this was a local - livin’ off the land - type farm that can only milk 12 cows at a time. I loved every moment of seeing the process and the adorable livestock!
