This isn’t exactly a new composition from me, and it’s taken from a location quite familiar to me, but it’s like catching up with an old friend. Even better is when I get to show and share this place with other people. As my Dad’s now living in Cumbria we enjoyed a brisk walk up Longsleddale, one of my favourite Lake District valleys and my Dad’s first time here. It was incredibly windy in the valley, but that just made the light conditions even more epic. We watched bands of light scan the glaciated curves of the valley while clouds raced above us. Cracking day.
