The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, located in New York City’s Morningside Heights, is one of the largest cathedrals in the world, spanning 121,000 square feet. Construction began in 1892, and while still unfinished, it features stunning Gothic and Romanesque Revival architecture. The cathedral boasts the world’s largest rose window, containing over 10,000 pieces of stained glass. Hosting major events, concerts, and art installations, it is a spiritual and cultural hub. The Peace Fountain and Biblical Garden further enhance its significance.
