Kai Tak Cruise Terminal Park is located on the roof of Kai Tak Cruise Terminal in Eastern Kowloon Peninsula. This cruise terminal was converted from the airport runway of the old and historical Kai Tak Airport. Kai Tak Airport was closed on 1 July 1997 as Britain ended its colonial rule and returned H.K to China. The photo was taken at the tip of the park on the roof of the Cruise Terminal and facing a channel called Lei Yue Mun (means gateway), which is the eastern outlet of the iconic Victoria Harbour. The arch is an iconic construction on the roof of the cruise terminal.
