It was a beautiful Friday evening in northern Scotland. As the afternoon sun got low in the western sky, we ate a delicious supper in a lovely restaurant right near the water of a small lake. After paying for our meal, we walked out onto the pier to watch the sun go down. It was here that I pulled out my iPhone and captured the picture above. As the sun disappeared behind the hills, the glowing sky was reflected in the water of the lake. A small rowboat was bobbing up and down on the glassy surface, appearing as if it were suspended in a sea of fire. It was a scene I won’t soon forget.
