That picture is a story of patience. I walked along the opposite bank looking for the best angle. When I found it, there were 2 boats parked that spoiled the view. I stood there for 2 hours. They finally left. As I was making the final adjustments, a minivan parked in front of me with kayak on the roof, testing my patience again. Luckily he left few minutes later. My final task was to introduce something different in that image to make it worthwhile. I reduced the shutter speed and repeatedly pressed the shutter as boats passed by living a trail.
