This Art Deco statue was created by artist Carl Milles (1875-1955). It was sculpted in 1926. The bronze sculpture stands at 15’2” high. It was acquired as a gift in 1946 from Robert Allerton. The sculpture is displayed at Sun Singer Meadow, at the west end of Robert Allerton Park.
