We headed up to Mt. Baker at 7 pm on Thursday, January 25. Forecasts were predicting 7+ inches of cold snowfall. Being anyone who loves snow and Mt Baker would be planning to ride that Friday. Luckily I was driving my GMC Safari which has been my home for the last 6 months. It’s fully equipped with 100% waterproof flooring, pull out bed, high top, wood stove (!), a super cute Cocker Spaniel AND a girlfriend. With all the great equipment that rolled with me in the van, we were set to camp out for the entire cycle. Long story short…we woke up to 17+ inches. Deepest Day of My Life.
