This photo was taken at sunset after a day climbing in the Tantalus Range. Earlier that day a fellow climber, and one of my best friends, fell from a cliff down 40 metres and was evacuated to the hospital by helicopter. The beauty of the sunset was in sharp contrast with the brutality of the environment.
