After we settled our tents at an altitude of 2400 meters, between the two “Doménon” lakes in the in the French Alps, the night came and with it a curious ibex, watching over us. It surprised us by appearing on a rock just above us, its horns outlined against the dusky sky. I manage to take a few picture while it was assessing whether or not we were a threat.
