selective focus of spider

I’ve been experimenting with lighting for macros on a budget. This photo was illuminated using an empty paper towel tube that I cut to be slightly longer than my lens. I lined the inside of the tube with aluminum foil had an overlapping piece on the top to fold and direct the exiting light where I needed it. The rest of the equipment was an 18-55mm lens attached to a stack of 13mm, 20mm, and 36mm auto-extension tubes. Shot with my Sony Alpha A55. I have not taken the time to identify this spider yet.
