California sea lions are wonderfully playful animals. Their fast and agile underwater maneuvers would make even the most skilled pilot jealous, and they never seem to run out of energy when showing off for photographers. The water was green and murky, so converting this image to black and white removed the background distractions allowing a more complete appreciate of this beautiful marine mammal.
