"Moon Beams 2". Moon rise over the sea at Palm Cove, in Australia. I light painted the waves with a flashlight/torch. The pointy island was called Haycock Island (old English for hay stack) by Captain Cook, but most locals now call it Scout Hat Island. To the left is part of Double Island. I am not sure why there is so much light from the moon, including rays which look more like the sun (hence the name "Moon Beams"), but it was very humid and perhaps there were a lot of water droplets in the air to give this effect.
